Kate's role at Rockmybaby® is as a Visiting Teacher.
Kate has a Diploma of Early Childhood teaching, a Bachelor of Teaching in Early Childhood and is a fully registered teacher.
Kate believes that building and maintaining relationships with tamariki and their whanau is one of the most important components in early childhood education. Kate creates genuine, respectful, and reciprocal relationships within the early childhood community and will help build the individuality, confidence, and self-worth of every child.
By providing children with choices, allowing them space, time, and resources to extend their own strengths and interests, encouraging them to be independent thinkers and learners, and having them explore and discover their environment using trial and error, Kate believes a child will thrive.
Kate lives with her husband Murray and two daughters.
