- * Expressions of Interest - Professional Cleaning Apprenticeship**
We are looking to give one or two people an Apprenticeship programme in Professional Cleaning Services. You will be responsible and gain experience in both commercial and domestic settings.(In childcare centres and also domestic homes.)
This is part of a government initiative to grow capabilities in people, by offering upskilling, training and work opportunities to our community.
If you have been looking for a career change or wish to gain a formal qualification, then we would love to chat to you!
We will provide you with the tools of the trade and you will also gain a formal NZQA qualification in this field.
This position can be either 15 or 30 hrs per week - so suitable for one or two people. These hours can be flexible to cater to the individual and to the business needs.
Those without a formal qualification, returnees to the work force or people affected by COVID are greatly encouraged to apply.
Requirements / criteria:
Ability to pass a police check and have at least two referees.
Ideally you may already have some skills and experience in some form of cleaning.
Have time outside of your paid working hours to allow for study. (Approximately 10hrs week)
Be committed to being on this apprenticeship for 12months.
This is an expression of interest process and commencement of the apprenticeship will be determined when the right candidate is found.
